“ To all of you at Cardigan-
This card is merely a small gesture in comparison to the gratitude I have in my hearts for all of you- for taking care of my nana and papa (Dotty and Frank) throughout the years.
Watching them age was never easy, knowing you were caring for them- as if they were your grandparents- made me and whole family comforted. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you did to give them the best to keep them smiling and comfortable. There's a special place in heaven for you caregivers, and I know it can feel like a thankless job, but it never went unnoticed. All my love. ”
- Katie (Dotty and Frank's [favorite] granddaughter)
“ To Everyone,
Thank you for taking such good care of my mom, Ann-Marie. From the day she walked in during the winter storm, EVERYONE has been generous with their care and concern for her. Thank you to her caregivers for knowing what she liked and how she liked it.
Thank you to the kitchen staff for making her "grilled" cheese sandwiches and shakes...all the things she liked even as her tastes changed. Thank you to the laundry folks-she always looked nice.
And thank you to maintenance folks for allowing her to press the elevator button over and over and to flirt with you. Thank you from me for all your support over the past 18 months. My mom thrived because of your attention to her. She loved being with people and joining in on the fun. She had a wonderful life and will missed by her family and friends with my sincere appreciation. ”

“ Thanks ever so much for inviting us to Family Picnic Day. The food was delicious and despite the hot weather, fun was had by all.”

“ Thank you for the gentle and thorough care my father, Robert K. received at your hands. During my recent visit, I witnessed much kindness which, I am quite certain is the constant and prevailing attitude at Cardigan. From my home in Arizona thousands of miles away it is comforting to know that Dad is surrounded by such thoughtful and loving people. May the blessings of God's world visit you and your families. ”
